Jason joined the Broad Street UMC staff in June 2022. Jason began playing organ professionally in worship at age 16, and has served as Organist in numerous United Methodist churches. Jason has also served as Director of Music/Organist in Catholic churches in Michigan and Ohio. Jason received piano instruction at an early age with Patricia Heierman and Jamie Bobb. Organ instructors include Dr. Paul Barte (Ohio University) and Dr. Jason Keefer (Ponitifical College Josephinum). In addition to organ and piano, Jason also enjoys playing the trumpet and singing.  

Outside of church, Jason manages the Clinical Laboratory at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He holds the Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Bowling Green State University, certification as a Medical Technologist with the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management from Youngstown State University.
